96 points for the Bramare Los Arbolitos Chardonnay 2018 in Decanter tasting

96 points for the Bramare Los Arbolitos Chardonnay 2018 in Decanter tasting

In a blind tasting of 73 South American Chardonnays by regional expert, Amanda Barnes, Vina Cobos' Bramare Los Arbolitos Chardonnay 2018 was awarded 96 points! It was also classified as 'Outstanding' along with four other wines.

The stunning Los Arbolitos vineyard lies at an altitude of 3600 feet, allowing the grapes to achieve optimum ripeness through the cooling influence at night. The 2018 vintage was blessed with excellent climatic conditions throughout the growing season, producing a rich, layered Chardonnay with notes of apricot, apricot blossoms and white flowers. A little barrel ageing on its lees in French oak adds complexity and structure.

It's the perfect wine to accompany roast chicken as it's bold enough to taken on all the rich flavours, but also delivers plenty of juicy acidity to refresh your palate. We love it!
