Looking for something a bit special for Christmas?
Let me introduce you to these two incredible wines from @vina.cobos
Bramare Los Arbolitos Chardonnay 2017
If you’re drinking white with Christmas lunch, then you need a bit of body and structure from your wine to cut through and complement all those rich flavours. The Los Arbolitos Chardonnay 2017 would be a superb choice. Stone fruit notes of apricot and peach give way to hints of vanilla and spice from partial ageing in French oak. The wine feels creamy on the palate but has a wonderful zap of acidity at the end, which is so important when you’re eating richer food. It’s elegant and refreshing on its own, but a great match for a Christmas Day feast 🎄
Bramare Zingaretti Estate Malbec 2016
The estate includes vines up to 80 years old, which brings an incredible concentration of juicy, dark red fruit. 18 months ageing in a combination of old and new French oak adds structure and sweet spice. Then you’ve got altitude to give you that all important acidity and freshness. The tannins are soft and velvety and the finish is long. It’s a superbly balanced wine that’s a great expression of its terroir. Drinking now but will continue age beautifully 🍷
