Zuccardi, Susana Balbo, Vina Cobos and Colome are long established Bodegas, with a global reputation for producing award-winning, quality wines. Bodega Altocedro is headed up by winemaker, Karim Mussi Saffie, renowned for producing terroir driven wines from vines up to 100 years old. Sustainable practices are at the core of Bodega Altocedro and the winery has become synonymous with premium La Consulta wine. Last, but by no means least, we have Bodega Piedra Negra, owned by Bordeaux's Francois Lurton. After searching extensively across several regions of Argentina, François Lurton planted his vineyard at high altitude in the Uco Valley, in semi-desert conditions (the poor, gravelly soil is reminiscent of Pessac-Léognan!). This unexplored region is known as Chacayes, the name that François later gave to the property's finest wine.
