From our Taste of South America collection, we’re delighted to bring you the Micas Peumo Carmenere from Chile.
From 70 year-old vines, this northerly exposed vineyard is regarded as one of the best in the country. Low yields result in grapes packed full of flavour and colour.
The grapes are hand harvested and then undergo a rigorous selection process to ensure only the best bunches make it into the bottle. The Tabali Micas Puemo is intense in colour and delivers an explosion of blackcurrant and spice on the nose. The palate is rich and concentrated, with notes of vanilla complimenting the fruit. The finish is long and elegant. A superb wine! -

Tabalí is an iconic winery situated in Limarí, on the edge of the Atacama Desert in one of the northernmost vineyard regions of Chile. Established in 2002, they were one of the first wineries to settle in Limarí and their wines reflect their place of origin in which climate and soils play a fundamental role, and bring out the potential of each of their vineyards.
