    To say this is Vina Cobos's flagship wine would be an understatement. The vine and cluster selection for this wine is meticulous and spans the winery's top estates.

    Cobos Malbec 2018 was aged for 18 months in new Taransaud French oak barrels (75%), before bottling in December 2019 unfined and unfiltered.

    The wine is deep violet red in colour with complex aromas of black fruits, spices, and graphite. Elegant notes of blue fruits and wild thyme lead through to a velvety mouthfeel, with well-integrated tannins and a long finish. It's drinking well now but will age beautifully for another 10 years. If you can't wait that long, just make sure you decant an hour before drinking. We only have an allocation of 12 bottles, so grab a bottle while you can!
